These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Quasar Salon mobile application and the associated web service at app.quasarsalon.com (together, the "Service"), operated by Quasar Salon, based in Mohali, Punjab, India. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. If you are using the Service on behalf of someone else (e.g. booking for a family member), you are responsible for ensuring that person consents.
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date. You must notify us promptly at bookings@quasarsalon.com if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account. We may suspend or terminate an account that we reasonably believe has been compromised, used fraudulently, or used to violate these Terms.
A booking is provisional until you receive both an in-app confirmation and an email confirmation. We reserve the right to decline, modify, or cancel any booking — for example, if a stylist becomes unavailable, if the requested combination of services cannot be accommodated in the selected slot, or if we reasonably believe a booking is fraudulent. In such cases we will notify you and you may rebook at no charge.
The Service does not process any payments. All payments are made in person at the salon at the time of service, in Indian Rupees, using whatever payment methods the salon accepts. Prices shown in the App are estimates based on the standard menu and may vary based on the actual services performed (e.g. hair length, products used, add-ons). The salon will confirm the final price before service.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules, with or without notice depending on severity.
You retain ownership of any content you submit (such as your name, phone number, or profile photo). By submitting it, you grant Quasar Salon a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to store, display, and process that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. You represent and warrant that you have the right to share the content you submit and that it does not infringe anyone's rights.
The Service helps you book appointments; the actual salon experience is provided by Quasar Salon at its physical premises in Mohali. You agree to follow the salon's posted rules, treat staff and other clients with respect, and arrive at the agreed time (ideally a few minutes early). The salon reserves the right to refuse service for behaviour that endangers staff or other clients.
Your privacy is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
The Quasar Salon name, logo, app design, and all related materials are owned by Quasar Salon and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.
We strive to keep the Service available 24/7 but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may add, modify, or remove features at any time. We may also discontinue the Service entirely with reasonable advance notice. Bookings already confirmed at the time of discontinuation will be honoured by the salon.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any defects will be corrected immediately.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Quasar Salon shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. Our total cumulative liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed ₹1,000 or the equivalent amount paid by you to the salon in the 12 months preceding the claim, whichever is greater. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (e.g. for gross negligence, fraud, or death/personal injury caused by our negligence).
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Quasar Salon, its directors, employees, and contractors from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Service.
You may delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete Account in the App, via app.quasarsalon.com/delete-account, or by emailing bookings@quasarsalon.com. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, if your account is used fraudulently, or if required by law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (e.g. limitations of liability, governing law) will continue to apply.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top and, for material changes, notify you in the App or by email. Continued use of the Service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Mohali, Punjab, India.
